The Planika Prime Fire 2.0 Insert is a fully automatic linear bioethanol burner designed to bring a clean, real flame into modern indoor spaces without the need for a chimney, flue or gas connection. Using Planika’s advanced BEV® Technology, the Prime Fire 2.0 burns ethanol vapours rather than liquid fuel, delivering a safe, controlled and beautifully natural flame for custom fireplace installations, media walls, room dividers and contemporary architectural interiors.

Designed for flexibility, the Prime Fire 2.0 can be installed into custom enclosures or paired with Planika’s dedicated frame and integrated glass screens for a more complete firebox style installation. With 3 flame levels, automatic refuelling, remote and mobile app control, and optional Smart Home System compatibility, it offers the ambience of a real fire with the convenience of modern automatic operation.

Key Features

Linear Bioethanol Burner Design

The Prime Fire 2.0 features a clean linear burner format, making it ideal for contemporary built in fireplace designs. It can be used in custom enclosures, media walls, architectural joinery and open plan layouts where a refined flame feature is desired.

Advanced BEV® Technology

Planika’s BEV® Technology automates the combustion process and burns ethanol vapours rather than liquid fuel. The fuel is stored in a sealed tank, then a measured amount is transferred to a vapour generator before ignition, helping ensure safer and more controlled operation.

No Chimney Required

The Prime Fire 2.0 requires no chimney, flue or permanent fuel connection. It operates using bioethanol and electrical power, giving homeowners and designers greater freedom when planning indoor fireplace placement.

3 Flame Levels

The burner includes 3 flame height levels, allowing you to adjust the atmosphere from a softer ambient flame to a stronger, more dramatic fire effect. This makes it easy to suit different room settings, moods and occasions.

Automatic Refuelling System

A dedicated automatic pump makes refuelling quick and convenient. This system helps reduce the risk of spills or overfilling compared with manual pouring, making the fireplace easier to use day to day.

Remote, App and Smart Home Control

Prime Fire 2.0 can be operated using the included remote control, mobile app or optional Smart Home System integration. This allows convenient ignition, flame adjustment and fireplace management from your seat or through a wider home automation system.

Multiple Design Possibilities

The Prime Fire 2.0 is designed for installation in custom enclosures, with the flexibility to expose one or more sides of the flame. It can be used in fully open designs, single sided fireplaces, tunnel layouts, room dividers, three sided features, island arrangements and left or right corner installations. 

Optional Frame with Integrated Glass

For a more complete installation, the Prime Fire 2.0 can be supplied with Planika’s frame and integrated glass panels. The glass helps provide a transparent protective barrier around the flame while maintaining a clear view of the fire. This frame system is suited to freestanding, island, room divider and tunnel configurations.

Clean Burning Bioethanol

Prime Fire 2.0 uses bioethanol fuel and produces a real flame without smoke, soot or ash. Planika describes the combustion of ethanol from biomass as carbon neutral, with the fireplace producing water vapour and minimal carbon dioxide during operation.
