Product Description and Availability
We make every effort to display current and accurate product and inventory information. Product colours and finishes can appear differently on different screens, and specifications can change as manufacturers update their ranges.
Naked Flame 2-Year Warranty
Naked Flame stands behind the quality of the products we sell. Your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act apply where applicable. Subject to the terms below, fireplaces sold by Naked Flame are covered by our limited two-year warranty against defects in material and workmanship for domestic use. Warranties are not transferable and are limited to the original purchaser with proof of purchase. To discuss a warranty claim, email sales@nakedflame.nz.
Extended 5-Year Warranty
The extended five-year manufacturer warranty applies exclusively to eligible FLA4 and FLA4+ burners, including eligible units integrated into Forma fireplaces, subject to the manufacturer's current terms and registration requirements.
- The unit must meet the manufacturer's applicable purchase-date requirements.
- The end user must complete the official Planika warranty registration within the manufacturer's required period.
See the Planika extended warranty information for current eligibility, registration requirements and exclusions. Where an extended manufacturer warranty does not apply, the standard warranty terms remain applicable.
Defective or Damaged Items
Naked Flame warrants to the original purchaser that covered fireplaces and components are free from defects in material and workmanship during the applicable warranty period. Where a covered defect is confirmed, Naked Flame may repair or replace the affected component or product. Transit damage should be reported as soon as possible after delivery so it can be assessed.
The warranty does not cover damage caused by:
- Improper assembly or installation
- Use of fuel that does not meet the manufacturer's specifications
- Unauthorised repairs, modifications or servicing
- Intentional damage, accident, misuse, abuse or negligence
- Normal wear and tear, including cosmetic chips and scratches
- Weather-related damage where a product has not been used or protected in accordance with manufacturer instructions
- Natural variations in colour, texture and porosity of applicable concrete products
- Broken or removed warranty seals where fitted
Risk and Product Variation
- Risk of damage to, or loss of, goods passes to the customer upon delivery, subject to rights that cannot be excluded under New Zealand law.
- Natural variations in texture, shade, colour, surface, finish and markings may occur in materials used in fireplace products.
- Materials can react to heat, cold, weather and impact. Follow the manufacturer's installation, operating, maintenance and protection instructions.
- Unless otherwise stated by the applicable manufacturer warranty, glass components may have separate warranty conditions.
Returns and Exchanges
Please inspect goods on delivery and notify Naked Flame promptly of any alleged defect, shortage, damage or discrepancy. Returns and exchanges are assessed in accordance with applicable New Zealand consumer law, the condition of the goods, the nature of the issue and any relevant manufacturer warranty.
Custom-order, made-to-order and non-stock products may have additional return restrictions where permitted by law. Please contact us before returning any product so we can provide the appropriate instructions.
Natural Material Characteristics
Natural variation in colour, texture and porosity can occur in Fluid™ Concrete Technology products and similar materials. Non-structural hairline variation can be an inherent characteristic rather than a manufacturing defect.
