POLARIS

The Planika Polaris is a tall freestanding automatic bioethanol stove designed to bring the comfort of a real flame into modern indoor spaces without the need for a chimney, flue or gas connection. With its slim vertical form, three sided glass enclosure and clean black finish, Polaris creates a striking centrepiece for living rooms, apartments, lounges and contemporary interiors.

Powered by Planika’s advanced BEV® Technology, Polaris burns ethanol vapours rather than liquid fuel, producing a clean real flame without smoke, odour, soot or ash. Its enclosed flame, remote control operation and easy refilling system make it a practical and elegant alternative to a traditional wood burning stove.

Tall Freestanding Stove Design

Polaris features a slim upright silhouette that gives it the presence of a contemporary stove while maintaining a refined, minimalist appearance. Its freestanding format makes it ideal for creating a focal point without major building works.

Advanced BEV® Technology

Using Planika’s BEV® Technology, Polaris creates flame by burning ethanol vapours rather than liquid fuel. This helps deliver a clean combustion process with no smoke, smell or ash, while supporting safe and controlled operation.

Three Sided Glass Flame View

The flame is enclosed behind dedicated toughened glass, helping stabilise the fire while allowing a panoramic view from multiple angles. This makes Polaris especially well suited to open plan spaces and lounge areas where the flame can be enjoyed from different seating positions. 

No Chimney Required

Polaris does not require a chimney, flue or fixed fuel connection. It operates using bioethanol and standard electrical power, giving homeowners and designers greater flexibility when placing a fireplace indoors. 

Easy Refilling System

Planika’s easy refilling system automatically supplies the fireplace with the required amount of fuel. When the fuel bottle is empty, simply replace the bottle, making everyday use clean and convenient.

Remote Control Operation

Polaris comes with a remote control, allowing you to operate the fireplace and adjust the flame while seated comfortably. This gives simple control over the ambience and heat output of the room.

Two Flame Height Levels

With 2 flame height stages, Polaris allows you to choose between a softer flame for relaxed ambience and a stronger flame for added warmth and visual impact.

Effective Indoor Heating

With a maximum heat output of 3.5 kW, Polaris provides practical warmth as well as visual atmosphere, helping create a cosy setting on cooler evenings.

Optional Decorative Logs

For a more traditional fireplace appearance, Polaris can be styled with optional decorative logs. These add texture and realism to the flame display while preserving the clean convenience of bioethanol technology.

Clean Burning Bioethanol

Polaris runs on bioethanol fuel, producing a real flame without the mess of wood burning. There is no ash to remove, no soot build up and no smoky residue, making it a low maintenance option for modern interiors.
