The Planika Neo 500 Fireplace is a compact automatic bioethanol fireplace designed to bring ambience into smaller indoor spaces without the need for a chimney, flue or gas connection. With its built in casing, decorative log set and advanced BEV® technology, the Neo 500 creates a clean and contemporary fireplace feature for apartments, lounges, bedrooms, media walls and compact interior installations.

Compact Built In Fireplace Design

The Neo 500 Fireplace is the smallest model in the Neo Fireplace range, making it ideal for compact installations where space is limited but a real flame is still desired. Its smaller format suits apartments, bedrooms, media walls, existing fireplace conversions and custom interior joinery.

Advanced BEV® Technology

Powered by Planika’s patented Burning Ethanol Vapours technology, the Neo 500 burns ethanol vapours rather than liquid fuel. The bioethanol is heated inside the device, with vapours emitted over the burner and ignited, eliminating direct contact between the flame and fuel.

True Zero Clearance Installation

The Neo Fireplace range features True Zero Clearance construction, allowing the unit to be installed into structures made from combustible materials while preserving required safety principles. This makes it a strong option for modern joinery, wall structures and built-in fireplace projects.

Decorative Logs Included

The Neo 500 includes a decorative log set, helping recreate the appearance of a traditional hearth while retaining the clean convenience of modern bioethanol technology.

Two Flame Height Levels

With 2 flame height stages, the Neo 500 allows you to select between a softer ambient flame and a stronger flame effect. This gives simple control over both visual intensity and heat output.

Up to 5 Hours Burn Time

The Neo 500 features a 1.7 L fuel tank and provides up to 5 hours of burn time, making it ideal for relaxed evenings, occasional use and creating atmosphere in smaller indoor living spaces. 

Automatic Fireplace Operation

The fully automated combustion system is designed to reduce the risks associated with manual ethanol fireplaces. Safety systems include heat, fuel spillage and fuel level sensors for controlled everyday operation.

Easy Automatic Fuelling

The Neo Fireplace range is equipped with an automatic fuelling pump that communicates with the device to help prevent overfilling or fuel spillage, making refuelling cleaner and more convenient.

Flexible Fireplace Shape

Detachable side panels allow the Neo Fireplace to be adapted to suit different installation styles. The unit can be configured as single sided, left corner, right corner or three sided depending on the layout of the room.
