The Planika Forma 2700 Range is the largest format in the Forma ethanol firebox collection, designed for expansive architectural interiors where a long line flame is required. Supplied as an all in one firebox with casing and automatic ethanol burner, the Forma 2700 creates a premium flame feature without the need for a chimney, flue or gas connection.

With its impressive scale, the Forma 2700 is ideal for luxury homes, hotel lobbies, restaurants, commercial reception areas and large open plan interiors. Available in multiple fireplace configurations and compatible with Planika’s advanced FLA4 and FLA4+ burner options, it delivers clean burning BEV® Technology, automatic control and a striking architectural presence for high end indoor projects.

Key Features

All In One Fireplace Insert

Each Forma unit is supplied as a complete firebox solution, with the casing and automatic ethanol burner included. This makes it easier to specify and install than building a custom fireplace enclosure from separate components.

Advanced BEV® Technology

The Forma 2700 uses Planika’s BEV® Technology, which burns ethanol vapours rather than liquid fuel. This creates a real flame with clean combustion, no smoke, no ash and no traditional wood fire mess. 

No Chimney or Gas Connection Required

The Forma 2700 does not require a chimney, flue or hard fuel connection. Only electrical power is required, giving designers and homeowners greater freedom when planning a built in fireplace for modern interiors. 

Zero Clearance Installation

Forma is designed with zero clearance capability, allowing the firebox opening and surround to be finished with a wide range of materials when installed according to Planika’s requirements. This makes it ideal for custom joinery, feature walls and architectural fireplace surrounds. 

6 Flame Height Levels

The Forma 2700 with FLA4 or FLA4+ offers 6 stages of flame height regulation, allowing the fire effect to be adjusted from subtle ambience to a stronger architectural flame.

High Heat Output

The Forma 2700 is designed for large spaces, with available technical data listing heat output up to 22.5 kW for selected 2700 configurations. This makes it a powerful decorative and heating feature for expansive interiors. 

Clean Indoor Flame

Forma runs on bioethanol fuel, producing a genuine flame without wood smoke, soot or ash. It is a refined alternative to wood or gas fireplaces in interiors where conventional flue installation is not practical.

Burner Options

FLA4

FLA4 is Planika’s premium fully automatic linear ethanol burner, designed for high-end built-in fireplace installations. It offers a clean line of fire, BEV® ethanol vapour combustion, 6 flame levels, remote/app-style control features and integrated safety systems.

FLA4+

FLA4+ provides the same premium linear flame style as FLA4, with a larger fuel tank for longer operation between refills. It is ideal for luxury homes, hotels, restaurants and commercial spaces where extended use and reduced refuelling frequency are important.
