The Planika FLOGS is a modern automatic bioethanol fireplace insert designed to recreate the look and atmosphere of a traditional wood burning fireplace without a chimney, smoke, soot or ash. With its realistic ceramic logs, tall flames and advanced BEV® technology, FLOGS brings the charm of a classic hearth into contemporary indoor spaces with clean, controlled combustion.

Designed for apartments, villas, hotels and modern homes where wood or gas fireplaces may not be practical, FLOGS offers a real flame experience with simple installation and effortless operation. It can be controlled by touch panel, remote control, mobile app or optional Smart Home System integration, making it a sophisticated fireplace solution for both residential and hospitality interiors. The FLOGS is available in FLOGS 990 and FLOGS 990+ variants, with the plus version offering a larger fuel tank for extended burn time.

Key Features

Traditional Fireplace Look

FLOGS creates the visual effect of a traditional wood burning fireplace using ceramic logs surrounded by tall, lively flames. This gives the fireplace a warm and familiar appearance while avoiding the mess and maintenance of real wood fires. 

Advanced BEV® Technology

Powered by Planika’s Burning Ethanol Vapour technology, FLOGS burns bioethanol vapours rather than liquid fuel. The liquid fuel remains safely contained in a sealed tank, while the combustion process is monitored by a microprocessor and sensors for stable, controlled operation.

No Chimney Required

FLOGS can be installed without a chimney or additional ventilation. Bioethanol combustion produces water vapour and a small amount of CO₂, with no smoke, soot or harmful emissions, making standard room ventilation sufficient for everyday use.

Powerful Heat Output

With a heat output of 7 kW, FLOGS provides both real flame ambience and practical warmth for indoor living spaces, lounges, apartments and hospitality settings.

6 Flame Height Levels

Choose from 6 flame height levels to create the right atmosphere for your space. The full, dynamic flame appears in around two minutes, allowing you to enjoy the fireplace quickly and conveniently.

Remote, App and Smart Home Control

FLOGS can be operated using a touch LCD control panel, remote control, mobile app or optional Smart Home integration. This allows easy flame adjustment, timer use and convenient everyday operation.

Safe Automatic Refuelling

The fireplace includes an automated fuel refilling system with a portable pump and sealed filling circuit. The system manages filling, fuel level monitoring and fuel recovery after shutdown, helping make refuelling cleaner and safer.

Extended Burn Time Option

FLOGS is available in a standard version and a larger tank FLOGS+ version. The standard 5.5 L tank provides up to 8 hours of burn time, while the 17.7 L FLOGS+ tank provides up to 27 hours of burn time. 

Integrated Safety Features

FLOGS includes an automatic shut off function, child lock, fuel level monitoring and sensor controlled operation for added peace of mind in residential and commercial interiors.
