The Planika FLA4+ is a premium linear bioethanol fireplace insert designed for luxury built in indoor installations where extended burn time and architectural impact are essential. Based on Planika’s patented BEV® technology, the FLA4+ produces a real, clean burning flame without a chimney, flue or gas connection, making it ideal for custom fireplace walls, room dividers, hospitality interiors and high-end residential projects.

Designed as the larger tank version of the FLA4, the FLA4+ offers the same advanced automatic operation with significantly increased fuel capacity for longer uninterrupted use.

Key Features

Extended Burn Time Fireplace Insert

The FLA4+ is designed for projects where longer operating time is required. Its larger fuel tank provides extended performance compared with the standard FLA4, making it especially suited to hospitality spaces, premium homes and installations where regular refuelling is less convenient.

Advanced BEV® Technology

Powered by Planika’s patented Burning Ethanol Vapours technology, the FLA4+ burns ethanol vapours rather than liquid fuel. This creates a real flame without smoke, ash or chimney ventilation, while helping ensure a controlled and efficient combustion process.

Larger Fuel Tank Capacity

The FLA4+ range features larger tank capacities than the standard FLA4, with capacities from approximately 9.6 L to 45.9 L depending on model size. This allows the fireplace to run for significantly longer between refills.

Up to 31 Hours Burn Time

Depending on the selected model, the FLA4+ offers approximately 16–31 hours of burn time from a full tank, making it ideal for long evenings, extended entertaining, hotels, restaurants and commercial interiors.

6 Flame Height Levels

The FLA4+ features 6 stages of flame height regulation, allowing you to adjust the flame from a subtle ambient glow to a more dramatic feature fire. This gives you control over both the visual atmosphere and heat output.

Remote, App and Smart Home Control

The FLA4+ can be operated via remote control, mobile app and optional Smart Home System integration. This allows users to control flame height, monitor fireplace status and operate the fire as part of a broader automated interior environment.

Automatic Refuelling System

Planika’s automatic refuelling system allows the fireplace to be filled safely and efficiently using an integrated pump. The system helps prevent accidental overfilling and makes refuelling easier than manual pouring.

Zero Clearance Design

The FLA4+ is part of Planika’s zero clearance built in fireplace system, allowing it to be integrated into a variety of custom surrounds and joinery designs when installed according to specification. This provides greater design freedom for architects, designers and builders. 

Clean Burning Bioethanol

The FLA4+ runs on bioethanol fuel, producing a real flame without smoke, soot or ash. With no chimney or flue required, it offers a clean and flexible alternative to traditional wood or gas fireplaces.

Integrated Safety Systems

The FLA4+ includes a range of safety features such as temperature monitoring, seismic sensors, spillage detection and fuel level sensors. These systems help support safe operation in residential, hospitality and commercial environments.
