The Planika FLA4 is a premium linear bioethanol fireplace insert designed for bespoke indoor fireplace installations. Powered by Planika’s patented BEV® technology, the FLA4 produces a real, clean burning flame without the need for a chimney, flue or hard fuel connection, making it ideal for modern homes, apartments, hotels, restaurants and architectural interiors.

Designed for complete flexibility, the FLA4 can be built into a wide range of custom surrounds and installation styles. With remote and app control, automatic refuelling, 6 flame height levels and multiple integrated safety systems, the FLA4 delivers the atmosphere of a real fire with the convenience of advanced automatic operation.

Luxury Linear Fireplace Insert

The FLA4 is a long, linear ethanol fireplace insert designed for built-in indoor applications. Its slim 220 mm insert height and clean architectural form make it ideal for contemporary fireplace walls, media features, custom joinery and luxury interior projects.

Advanced BEV® Technology

Powered by Planika’s patented Burning Ethanol Vapours technology, the FLA4 burns ethanol vapours rather than liquid fuel. This creates a real flame without smoke, ash or the need for a chimney, while helping provide a safer and more controlled combustion process. 

6 Flame Height Levels

The FLA4 offers 6 stages of flame height regulation, allowing you to adjust the flame from a subtle ambient glow to a more dramatic feature fire. This makes it easy to match the flame intensity to the mood, setting or occasion.

Remote and App Control

The FLA4 can be operated using the included remote control or the Planika mobile app. Through the app, users can control the flame, check fireplace messages, monitor fuel level, set the work timer and activate child lock.

Optional Smart Home System

For integrated luxury interiors, the FLA4 can be connected to Planika’s optional Smart Home System, allowing the fireplace to become part of a wider home automation setup.

Automatic Refuelling System

Planika’s automatic refuelling system allows the fireplace to be filled quickly and safely using an automatic pump. Once the tank is full, the pump switches off automatically, helping protect against accidental spillage or overfilling.

Innovative Touch Panel Control

A concealed touch panel allows users to check fuel status, adjust flame intensity and set an automatic shut off timer. The panel also includes child lock and device lock functions for added safety and peace of mind. 

Zero Clearance Installation

The FLA4 is a zero clearance fireplace that can be installed quickly into built ins made from various materials, including materials such as wood, when installed according to specification. This makes it highly versatile for custom joinery and architectural applications. 

Integrated Safety Systems

The FLA4 includes multiple safety features, including temperature sensors, fuel level monitoring, seismic sensors, spillage detection, robust stainless steel construction and a fuel retrieval system, supporting safe and reliable operation in premium interiors.
