The EcoSmart Grate 18 is a bioethanol fireplace grate that converts an existing fireplace opening to a clean-burning real flame, without using the chimney. Its AB8 burner holds 8 litres and gives 7 to 9 hours of flame at about 6 kW. Indoor use.

The EcoSmart Grate 18 offers a simple and elegant way to upgrade traditional fireplaces with modern bioethanol technology. Designed to sit inside an existing fireplace cavity, this compact fireplace grate allows homeowners to convert a wood-burning or unused fireplace into a clean-burning ethanol fire in minutes.

Featuring a sleek graphite Fluid™ concrete surround and a powerful AB8 round bioethanol burner, the Grate 18 delivers the ambience of a real flame without the smoke, soot or ash associated with wood fires.

With no gas connection, chimney modification or electricity required, this vent free fireplace insert is ideal for smaller hearths, apartments and renovation projects where traditional fireplaces are no longer practical.
