The Arc Electric Lighter is a rechargeable plasma lighter. Instead of a flame it makes an electric arc, which lights the fuel instantly and is not blown out by wind. There is no gas to refill and no butane to run out.
Why it suits a bioethanol fire
Flameless electric arc ignition.
Windproof, so it works outdoors on a fire pit or fire pit table.
USB rechargeable. No gas refills.
Also handy for candles and BBQs.
Good to know
Light your fire the way its manual describes, and keep your hand and face back from the burner as you do.
For burners that sit deep in a surround, the long-reach EcoSmart Lighting Rod may suit better.
Wipe up any spilt fuel before you light the burner.
